I'm Shane Drever, a full-time visual artist based in Fredericton. My work draws from the Maritime landscape: coastlines, outports, as well as broader Canadian scenes. I paint in oil, often with gold leaf worked into the surface, a nod to kintsugi, the Japanese tradition of repairing with gold. The idea that what's weathered is something worth keeping.
